Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping is shown at checkout:

  • All UK orders are a flat rate of £3.95. They are sent with Evri Tracked (2-4 day delivery) This rate is per package, not per item. 
  • We offer FREE SHIPPING on all UK orders over £150.
  • EU orders with tracked shipping are £13.95 and £9.95 for small accessories.
  • USA orders with tracked shipping are £18.95 and £11.95 for small accessories.
  • International orders with tracked shipping are £19.95 and £12.95 for small accessories. 
  • Express shipping services are available at additional cost - Just select the option at checkout or drop us a message. 

*Please note: Orders shipped outside of the UK can be subject to regular customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The customer is responsible for paying these charges. 

DELIVERY TIMES

Your ASHANTI EMPRESS item/s will be packaged and ready for dispatch within a maximum of 5 working days of receiving your order. We will always endeavour to send your order ASAP wherever possible and will notify you of any delays.

All UK orders are sent with Evri tracked shipping as standard (2-4 days). If you require  express shipping this option is available at checkout. 

All International orders are sent with Evri tracked shipping. 

Delivery times can vary but usually arrive within the following number of days:

  • UK = 2-3 working days
  • Europe = 5-7 working days
  • Rest of world = 7-14 working days

These delivery times are estimates, occasionally shipping can take up to 2 weeks from date of dispatch to destinations worldwide.

If your items are back-ordered or a custom order we will keep you updated as to delivery times along the way.

NEXT DAY + EXPRESS DELIVERY

If you would like your item delivered using an express service we provide these shipping options to you for an additional charge at checkout.

Please note: Although we will send the order with Next Day or Express postage, we are a small business and cannot always dispatch orders on the day they are received. We usually dispatch orders on Tuesdays and Fridays

CUSTOM ORDER DELIVERY

Custom orders are produced in Ghana so the shipping times and cost are different. We aim to produce and ship a custom order 1-2 weeks after receiving payment. The approximate shipping time from Ghana to destinations worldwide is 2 weeks.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We currently offer standard shipping to most locations globally where we have had demand, however we are happy to arrange international delivery elsewhere if your country is not listed at checkout. Please email us at hello@ashantiempress.com and we can, in most cases, organise a quote for delivery.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

We want you to feel fabulous in your Ashanti Empress outfit! If something isn’t quite right please email us at hello@ashantiempress.com to let us know if an exchange or return is required and we will notify you of the address to send your item back to. The guidelines below will always apply.

Exchanges 

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery if you’d like a different size or style.

  • Pop the item back in the post within that same 14-day window (keep proof of postage).

  • As long as it’s in original condition, we’ll happily swap it for another size or style (stock permitting).

  • Customers cover postage for exchanges, so please check our sizing guide before you order.

Refunds

If you’d prefer a refund instead of an exchange:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery and post your item within the same time frame.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed and in the original condition they were sent out in.

  • A small processing fee of £3.50 will be deducted from your refund: As a small business the processing fee helps us cover the original dispatch costs and the time it takes to handle returns.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping (orders over £150), we’ll deduct the cost we paid to send your parcel.

Sale Items

All sale items are non-refundable. We’re happy to offer an exchange or store credit if your item is returned in original condition within 14 days of delivery. As a small business, we can’t offer full refunds on discounted pieces, but we’ll always do our best to make sure you find something you love. 

Faulty or damaged items

On the rare chance your item arrives faulty or damaged, please get in touch within 14 days of delivery. We’ll send you a replacement or refund with no extra cost to you.

Important bits

  • The 14-day window starts from the date of delivery, not the order date.

  • The postage receipt date counts as proof of return.

  • Items returned outside the 14 days, or not in their original condition, may be refused.

  • Please retain proof of postage, as we can’t accept responsibility for missing parcels.
